This is my 2nd year playing in 100 Holes 4 Kids
Memorable moment from a previous 100 holes tournament:
Last year was my first year and in true Syracuse weather fashion, it was warm and cold. It rained, sleeted and there were even a few snowflakes. I had never played a 100 holes of golf in a row before, but I really enjoyed just how happy everyone was to be participating for such a good cause.
Why I participate:
McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center is an important partner in my work life. Aside from being a board member, there are times when we can chip in to help kids in different and unique ways, and this is one of them. I made some new friends, got to see how important the cause is to so many people, get to play some golf, and have stories to tell afterwards. What can be better than that?
Favorite golf tip or quote about golf:
Don't take yourself too serious. You are not putting food on the table with your golf game: enjoy the walk, the outdoors, and the conversations.
