I ride to support the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center (MRCAC) because it effectively provides children and young adults in Onondaga County and their families access to tools and services concerning their personal safety and wellness. Prevention comes from knowledge, and I wholeheartedly support the work of MRCAC.

Child abuse in all forms is abhorrent and yet is not uncommon in our society. MRCAC offers comprehensive training and resources for individuals, businesses, organizations, mandated reporters, parents, and community members on how to recognize and respond to child abuse. Prevention, intervention and support services to at-risk children and families is a critical service every community can benefit from.
