The 135 Crouse Health Addiction Treatment Services employees challenged me to go over the edge. I am honored to accept the challenge to raise funds for the McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center, which provides important services in our community to sexually abused children and their families. The statistics of child sexual abuse are alarming. Working in the field of addiction treatment I have seen the long term effects on survivors of abuse.

I am hopeful that raising awareness about child sexual abuse will allow more children to come forward sooner to disclose their abuse and get help and support to start the healing process.

A huge thank you to family, friends, Crouse Health employees, my Fleet Feet running family and my Evolution Fitness gym buddies who already donated and helped me reach $1,000 in less than 24 hours.
