Why I participate:

My two young children simply are my world. It pains me to think of all the children out there who aren’t afforded such simple things as love and respect. These statistics are frightening: “In the US a report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds. 1 out of every 10 children will be sexually abused before they reach 18, and more than 90% of children know their abuser.” My involvement in this event will allow me to do a small part in helping those whom can’t in most cases help themselves.
