| My passion lies in advocating for the most vulnerable members of our society—those whose voices are often unheard and whose needs are too often unmet. Whether it’s helping children, animals, individuals with disabilities or people navigating hardship, I feel deeply called to be present, to listen and to act.
I believe in meeting people where they are, with empathy and respect, and doing whatever I can to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity. I am driven by a belief that kindness is powerful and support can change lives. Whether through advocacy, education, or direct action, I strive to create a world where every being is valued, safe, and given a fair chance. “The statistics are astounding and frightening: about 1 in 10 children is sexually abused; every eight minutes a child is sexually abused; and nearly five children die every day from neglect and abuse.” The McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center’s trauma-informed, streamlined approach partners law enforcement, children and family services, social workers, medical professionals, victim advocates, prosecutors, therapists and volunteers under one roof and brings healing to hundreds of children annually. Gear Up 4 Kids is a tangible way for me to contribute to a safer, more compassionate community. I am honored to support McMahon Ryan and the mission to end child abuse. |
