The Site provides:

Child Friendly Site
The Site is a comfortable, private, child-friendly setting that is physically and psychologically safe for children and their non-offending family members.

Medical
Children who have experienced abuse can receive a child-sensitive, non-invasive medical exam to collect evidence and safeguard the child’s health.

Child Abuse Advocacy
Advocates provide support to abused children and their families to negotiate the systems involved with investigation, prosecution and follow-up services.

Investigative Interviews
Law Enforcement and Child protective services have joined together to investigate cases of abuse.

Therapy and Support Groups
Mental health professionals are available to support the abused child and their family while they progress through the healing process.

Community Awareness and Prevention
The site works to increase community awareness and understanding of child abuse as to the extent of abuse in our community and the services available to respond to and prevent abuse.

Professional Education and Services
The center has a large training room with multi-media equipment for training staff, child abuse professionals and para professionals.
